Currently, 1.5 million men and women are being released from active duty back into civilian society.Veterans returning home will offer a unique opportunity for our State to reform communities and advance our economic development goals. These men and women are proven, trained, committed, community-oriented Americans.
The Global Business Incubation (GBI) Emerald Veteran Innovative Incubator project is integrating the integrity, honor and dedication of our Veterans with a focus on Veteran entrepreneurship, advanced manufacturing and uplifting underserved communities. GBI, is currently in collaboration with HomeFront Rising and Loyola Marymount University (LMU) College of Business Administration, as a strategic partner and sponsor as we help prepare Veteran entrepreneurs and small business owners achieve success in the new collaborative global marketplace.
The Veteran’s Inc Program (VIP) is our incubation eco-system that focuses on veteran based enterprises. We operate a model business incubation and acceleration system designed for entrepreneurs, innovators and intra-preneurs veterans. The VIP also host events and educational workshops that focuses on veteran entrepreneurs, re-entry and business opportunities.
